Yesterday, Apple announced two new iPhone’s. The iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c. However, this post will only be about the 5s. Firstly, it does include a fingerprint sensor behind the home button and can be used to unlock the device (of course) and buy media and apps from iTunes and the App Store. It also comes in a new colour, gold. Yep. A gold iPhone. The other two colours are grey and silver.
Next, it has a 64-bit A7 processor, this thing will be very powerful, very powerful indeed. It’s the first smartphone ever to have 64-bit. It will also ship running Apple’s latest operating system, iOS 7. Finally, as well as the very powerful A7 chip, the iPhone 5s also has a sidekick, it has a M7 motion co-processor. It’s designed specifically to measure motion data from the accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass, all of which, would normally fall to the A7 chip. It will be released on the 20th of September but won’t be available for pre-order, you’ll either have to queue up at your local Apple Store or order it online.
