Okay okay, I agree, the title is misleading, I only wanted to keep it consistent with the others. In beta 7, there’s absolutely nothing the user can see that’s different from the previous beta. There was only a four day gap between beta 6 and beta 7, that’s very rare from Apple nowadays, I can’t recall when that last happened. I can only presume there was a critical bug in beta 6 that they wanted to patch as soon as they could.
Apple have well and truly broke the beta cycle. Normally, we’d see a new beta every two weeks and as we get closer to the final version, a new beta every three weeks. We’ve now seen two beta’s in less than 10 days. However, on my iPhone 6s the update only came in at 80MB so there’s no major changes here. In fact, to the naked eye, it’s identical.
Well, it’s only been eight days since the launch of beta 4 but Apple today have released the fifth beta of iOS 10. As we get ever closer, Apple are tweaking things here and there to make it ready for its release next month.
Two weeks after beta 3 was released, Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 10 and it includes lots of bug fixes, changes and speed improvements. I think beta 5 will be released on the week commencing the 15th of August and the GM will be released to developers on the 5th and releasing to everyone else, one week after on the 12th. iOS 10 is very stable and I don’t think we’ll see a sixth beta. Apple will be working hard now to fix all of the major bugs that still remain and if there are any minor bugs left over, they’ll either be fixed in iOS 10.0.1 or iOS 10.1.
